Which teams will be playing in State this year? |
|
| Will any | 4:43 PM |
C teams be able to participate? |
|
| Nope | 4:49 PM |
States are for A and B teams only. |
|
| slim | 6:21 PM |
it is going to be a small tourney. not too many teams will be going |
|
| SMALL, YOU BET! | 6:42 PM |
Expect only 68 or so teams - like 2007 in Richmond. Not the 88 like Fairfax last year! Expect few Fairfax teams to travel that far. |
|
| honestly | 7:33 PM |
I doubt it will be over 40 teams. With the economy , field location and distance - I just don`t see it happening this year.Maybe they should have a northern tourney and a southern tourney and have the final four in Richmond. |
|
| Could be! | 8:01 PM |
With 39 Member Leagues - maybe only one team each will come! THEN MAYBE NOT! |
|
| Si! See! Sea! "C"! | 8:06 PM |
Understand IFFL Fall registered a "C" league for States! |
|
| ^^^ | 10:10 AM |

Parts of Northern VA are also "ghetto" as you so eloquently put it. Stop stereotyping. |
|
| 4:22 PM |
We will offer bids to the Fall A, B and C divisions, and Spring Open league.
|
|
| C? | 4:28 PM |
Is there a C division of states or will these teams play in the B division? Also, does this cut down the number of bids available to A and B or add to the total number of bids available to everyone? |
|

Whatever division they want. The only teams who have to play in the "A" division at States are the teams who finished in the "B" quarterfinals at States the year before.
Also, does this cut down the number of bids available to A and B or add to the total number of bids available to everyone?
Adds to the total IFFL bids. |
|
| Tom, Have you | 4:32 PM |
decided on which A,B,C teams will get a bid to states? |
|
| 4:49 PM |
I don`t decide, we`ll offer to the top 4 from each Fall division and work down as teams decline, then go to the Spring league and get 6 teams from there who don`t already have a bid. |
|
| Whoa | 5:14 PM |
when did this happen? Is this the first year that C is allowed to go? |

NoVa ghetto? Yeah watch out for the mean streets of Great Falls, Ashburn, Falls Church, and Vienna. |
|
| Vienna Hoodies | 11:20 PM |
I got mugged at Vienna Inn once. Had to put down my chili dog to get my wallet out. It was one of the waitresses if drunken memory serves... |

Chesapeake made national headlines in 2003 when, under a court-ordered change of venue, the community hosted the first trial of convicted murderer Beltway sniper Lee Boyd Malvo for one of the 2002 terrorist-style attacks. A jury spared him a potential death sentence, choosing a sentence of "life in prison without parole" instead for the young man, who was 17 years old at the time of the crime spree. A jury in neighboring Virginia Beach sentenced his older partner John Allen Muhammad to death for another of the attacks.

| Yes parts of nova | 10:17 AM |
are "ghetto". parts of alexandria, 7 corners (falls church). ashburn SHOULD NOT be considered "NOVA". |
|
| Player | 10:51 AM |
Any county (Fairfax) that is on the "top 5 richest counties in the country" list can not be tagged as having "ghetto" areas.
The closest you`ve probably come to a "ghetto" or bad neighborhood is hearing about a drive by in SE on the 11 o`clock news.
"Parts of Alexandria, 7 corners," please. That`s funny.
Oh, and if Ashburn is not part of NoVa then what is it? |
|
| ^^ | 10:56 AM |
If you`re scared of chesapeake, dont go to states, plain and simple. |
|
| Ashburn | 3:25 PM |
is Loudon County....NOVA consists of Fairfax, Alexandria, Arlington....Pretty much 495 and 66 (to centerville at the furthest)....Woodbridge area is still not even NOVA.....even tho they try to be... |
