GMU intramural field is usually open turf and grass field

Just wanted to let everyone know that we had a scrimmage this past Sunday at GMU and we were kicked off the field because we did not go there. They said we all had to have student IDs. Just wanted to let everyone know.

What time were there that you got kicked off? And were you on the intramural fields or the turf field on campus?

We played at the field on campus at the RAC building. We were told that the field is open to everyone but they did not specify that it was for students only. We were kicked off around 1045am on Sunday morning. We only got that long in because it rained all morning. The intramural field near the fieldhouse is closed if the field house is closed which it is on Sunday and they had people patrolling that area.

I checked George Mason University was a public institution. They will kick you off their fields but will still take your tax dollars.

I`ve been to the one past the field house and around the corner a bit twice already and never got kicked off... the second time the gate was closed but we parked on the side of the street and walked to the field

i bet you dont even own a home or have any other equity where your taxes go to a "public institution"
