Guys I have a question. Does the ball have to line up directly over the stick or can we line it up to the right or left of the stick... If so how far can you line it up off the center of the stick?

If this is a serious question, technically you can line up anywhere outside of the stick. The officials use the stick in order to establish neutral zone and helps them to make accurate neutral zone infraction calls. So, if you line up 20 yds away from the stick, my guess is the officials will move the stick closer to where you line up in order to establish said neutral zone.

I don`t think that is correct. So, if I understand your answer CanesCoach, a team could line up the ball 1 yard from out of bounds, if they choose?
