10/24 : Rhinos trounce Lazy Sundae 23-6

Rhinos improve to 2-4 on the season, while Lazy Sundae drops to 5-2.

The victory snapped a 4 game losing streak for Rhinos.

This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Lazy Sundae. Coupled with a loss in their previous game Lazy Sundae is now on a two game slide.

These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 13 times. Their previous contest occured in a IFFL - Reston Spring League "Open" regular season game May 09 2010, 10:00, which Lazy Sundae won 10-7. Overall, Lazy Sundae is 9-4 against Rhinos.

Either Lazy lost becasue it did not matter or they lost to get a better first round match up in the Playoffs

We lost because we got outplayed. Trust me, I don`t throw games. I hate losing more than I hate you.

Brought a full squad and are the better team.

Only on this day. Personally they are not the better team. They are what their record says they are.

They have some really good WR`s who can go and get the ball, if they come like they did Sunday, they will be a challenge.

They lost just enough games to get into B and now they have the roster to win the B bracket hands down. Way to work the system Rhinos !!! You rock.

Dang, you figured out my diabolical scheme. From the beginning of the season our game plan was to purposely sit out a good chunk of our roster each game, to have to kickoff both halves for 2 of our 7 games, to use 3 different starting QBs, just so we could avoid the A playoffs. Of course if this was truly our goal, wouldn`t we have signed up for B instead of A before it all got merged to "open"?

With all that said, we will gladly trade places with anyone in the A playoffs if they are interested.

Plus don`t forget coach, this diabolical scheme is at least 15 or so seasons in the making... we`ve been JUSSSST missing the B playoffs for at least 5-6 years straight now! To think, we were wasting our time with those stupid A playoffs (and a few ships), when you know B league gets the real respect.

SC Coach, I agree that it was a very lame attempt by our mutual "nut hugging" fan. This type of witty repartee would be a huge hit in my son`s 4th grade class, but you would hope for a higher quality of humor from a supposedly grown man.
