So how much will the fee be reduced by in the spring?

i hope the FEE goes down for the teams as our rate went from $35 to $30 per official per game.
My understanding is the new rate was effect in the fall of 2010.

Is that why the REFS sucked so bad this year???

Where have you been "official?" Rate went down from $35 to $30 per game before the Spring because games went from 70 to 60 minutes (due to field time constraints), and one extra guaranteed game was added to offset this (both leagues).

We still have the best compensated officials in the state.

...and we`re just about done rooting out the awful officials, especially the ones who get basic rules wrong even though they claim seniority over others - one of whom is probably you ;)

Officiating was much better across the board on Sundays in the Fall than it was in the Spring.

We pay more attention to feedback from coaches through email, phone and out at the fields - and tend to disregard anonymous postings. You should pay more attention to your professionalism than our league accounting and finances.

Also, coaches feel free to email us and ask how your team fee is broken down (expense-wise). We will gladly provide you the breakdown. If you are an official, and you work for C or C&T, then you will not be asking this question because you already know the answer. If you are an official and you do not work for C or C&T then tell me who you are so we can assess your employment.

Did you read what I wrote? I gave you an explanation though its none of your business. We do communicate with the coaches, and discuss (and sometimes vote) on team fee issues during the coach meetings. This Spring the team fee will go down for Sunday teams because there is one less guaranteed game. It has nothing to do with what we pay officials. You whole effort here to start something about commissioner greed is laughable.

You`re just upset that you don`t pocket anymore of the officials per-game fee like you used to John, and by the fact that we cut back your fields this past Fall on Sundays because of the crap officials you put out there Sundays in the Spring.

Congratulations John, you`ve gone from 3 to 1 to 0 fields in less than 12 months. I will tell C to email you and thank you for the late Christmas present.

The officiating in Richmond was horrific and that term is used loosely. I have played in this league for years and noticed the officiating has been up and down at best. This past fall was perhaps the most consistent I have seen for some time. I don`t know who the OFFICIAL is and I rightly don`t care , but I do know Tom and I was at the coaches meeting. Some of the recent officials were there and if you have that much beef , then maybe you should look at the product you have on the field and then ask what the issue is.The league is much better than in the early 90`s and us Loudoun Boys are happy to be able to play in Fairfax ,so chill and try to better yourself and the crews that work under/with you.
