without their qb, imposters will lose to ligers. Wolves will have no problems with the ligers.

Pens will beat punishers and them and lazy play each other well. either team could win this. i`ll take pens.

pain vs collision would be the best 1st round match up, but if collision is having trouble showing up, i`m taking pain.

truth and pain would be a good game too. toss up

outcast should beat alter ego, but AE could definetly make a run. Scavs will walk past both of them.

Scavs have the easy road to the title game. And Wolves and Pens will be another close game.

This weekend games could change some of the match-ups.

That`s true. For example even if Imposters beat Raincity they might not even make the A playoffs. B/c if Outlaws beat Outcast that would mean there would be a 3 way tie for 2nd and 3rd place. Then I beleive it would come down to PD to decide who gets in. 6 pts is a lot to make up in one game, especially if you just lost your QB.

Then there are the rest of the 3-2 teams. Depending on how the PD`s endup the 1st round match ups could change some.

How does this change when Collision beats Truth and puts an end to the 0 points scored assist this weekend? How will the 3 way tie break work out between Truth, Collision and Liger?

When 3 teams are tied, it goes to head to head record between the teams. In a case where one team has played the other two teams (Collision) and the other two teams have not played each other (Truth and Ligers) and the first team has split (Collision lost to Ligers, beats Truth this Sunday), the team they lost to gets first, they get second and the team they beat gets third.

In this situation Ligers would win the division, Collision would be second and Truth third.

So you`re tellin` me there`s a chance...

Thats why my opening statement said I made some predictions on whos going to win and get it.

I don`t see collision winning. scoring yes. but truth looks pretty good right now.

outlaws shouldn`t beat outcast, but they could. Theres definetly a couple other teams that have an approtunity to make the playoffs. i just dont think they will.

I just checked their page and Collision lost to the Truth the last 2 times they`ve played and shut them out. Outcast is going to let the Outlaws sneak by them.

Ok, so let`s say Outlaws beat Outcast and Imposters beat Raincity. All three teams would`ve played each other. What desides who makes A playoffs? PD?

Since all three teams split their games, it would come down to PD in the games between those teams.

if this holds true and everyone beats who they`re "supposed" to beat in the first round, there will be some good games in the second round.

If you look at the overall standings the only game not recorded is the Ligers/Greenbacks. If Ligers lost they drop one spot, Collision moves up one spot, but it doesn`t change the matchups. Assuming Ligers didn`t win by enough to move their PD to better than Pain`s the matchups are set for next week...

Wolves have a walk to the final 4. Scavs vs. Pens in round 2 will be a GREAT game. Truth vs. Pain would be entertaining, 2 very good defenses. Once again Lazy lucks out getting probably an Outcast team they are VERY familiar with. I see Wolves vs. Scavs and Truth vs. Outcast in the final 4. Truth vs. Wolves in the final and the Wolves taking the title.

TNT did not finish in top 3 in their division. They are not in the A playoffs; Alter Ego is. Imposters is 11th and AE is 12th.

You are right Big Johnson. I was going off the overall standings, not realizing TNT was 4th in their division. This is where the unbalanced schedule of the West division is screwing things up! That also means that only 1 team from the South can get to the final 4 since Imposters will play Outcast in round 1 with the winner playing Lazy Sundae. Kinda like a mini Division tournament for a shot at the final 4...

So other then point differential being off. My top 12 were correct. I didn`t think Scavs would win such a close game. That was my only mistake in the top four. Way to suck! And I thought Pain would show up with a full squad to get a better pt differential then ligers. My bottom four werent in the correct order at all.

Other then that, looks like the original post was pretty close!

Maybe the commish can make a switch of two and get all the first round games to be cross division games. I dont think anybody wants to play a team they have already played. But there is only two interdivision playoff games.

pens vs alter ego and outcast vs imposters.

it is weird to see teams from the same division facing off and in a few cases it will happen in the first and second round.

Playoff Predictor, that was a good job across the board. It was a good write-up. But now the Truth will have to play Scavs rather then Lazy, so we will get to see if they really are the "truth" or not. Thats all. Good job bro.

Lazy is the 3 seed, and the 2 and 3 seed are in the same bracket.

Round 1 Games

Pens vs Alter Ego - Pens should win this again.
Outcast vs Imposters - Outcast should win this again.
Ligers vs Punishers - Didn`t see punishers all season, probably gonna be a close game. I`m gonna take the Punishers here.
Pain vs Collision - Should be the best game of the first round. I think Pain comes out on top as Collision has not looked like themselves this season.

Round 2 match ups (if my predictions hold true)

Wolves vs Pain - Should be a good game, but the wolves will be too much for Pain.

Truth vs Punishers - This could be another shut out for the Truth.

Lazy Sundae vs Outcast - Lazy beat them once, but Outcast is a decent team and could give them a run for their money. But I`ll take Lazy since Outcast fell to them.

Scavengers vs Penatrators - I`m putting this down as the best game of round 2. The Penatrators gave the Wolves all they could handle and then fell apart. They`ll need to play a complete game if they want to beat Jeremy, Nunn and Co. Until they do that, gotta take the Scavs.

i see imposters upsetting outcast and lazy to get to the final four. they have seen both of them already and now have the knowledge to beat them. i see truth and wolves with an easy walk to the final four. scavs/pens winner will be in the final game against the truth, with the truth taking the title.

1) The Truth`s opponents this year are a combined 13-23, barely above .500
2) The Truth`s opponents this year have a combined APD of -5.97
3) Two of The Truth`s wins came against brand new C level teams and a third against a team that in 8 seasons has NEVER won more than 1 regular season game.

I think The Truth will be in for a harsh realization come playoff time.

You`re so right. Anything before 8 AM is rough for me. It`s not even close, it`s .361 I used the wrong number of games! (total losses instead of total games)

Makes that record look even more suspect. I will agree with most, that they had a great year....but they have honestly not played any elite team this year. Collision is the closest, and they are more a name at this point, and shell of the former team because of injuries. Either way, hats off Fatty for the regular season, but your inflated record will not get you far in the A playoffs.

Very good point.The divisions were not competitive after the top 2-3 teams , so the records are deceiving.

No you f`n circle jerk ring leader. I said they had a great year. I also said they have not played a very good team.

Bearcats - Horrible, C level.
TNT - B level team...not even close to an A level team.
Infamous - Horrible, C level.
Greenbacks - Horrible, C level.
Vegas Nights - B level when they actually have their normal team, but they haven`t had the normal Gilligan crew all year.
Collision - The only decent team they have faced. However, this team is beat up, and full of injuries, so the win comes with a *.

Bottom line, that division is by far, the softest of all the divisions.

Lazy had the EASIEST division, as evidenced by a 2nd season "C" team making the "A" playoffs from that watered down excuse for competition. Clearly it is the Wolves then Scavengers and everyone else in this "A" bracket.

Who`s the 2nd C team in that division making the playoffs? considering Outlaws and Lazy made A last Fall.

Outcast has gotten much better. Not that same team that went 2-5 last fall. Imposters are probably a more legit B team then a below average A team. But they aren`t a C team.

And weren`t the Pens winning most of the game against the Wolves?

Lazy played Scavs close last season. Wouldn`t count them or Truth out of winning the whole thing. Especially since Wolves and Scavs/Pens are on one side of the bracket.

I think "Furthermore" was referring to us as the "2nd season" C team making the A playoffs. Meaning we have only been in the league 2 seasons.

Isn`t Imposters normal qb hurt? If they couldnt beat Outcast with their normal qb, I can`t imagin them making much noise with a back up qb.

nothing against Imposters, but makin the jump to A playoffs and then not having your qb is gonna make it real difficult. Outcast beat them easily last time.

They were playing Outcast on the weeknight when the QB got hurt.You really hate seeing that stuff happen and it hurts even more when it is your QB.
