11/20 : The Penetrators win B championship vs Punishers 10-9

The Penetrators improve to 0-0 in the postseason, while Punishers exit at 1-0.

The victory continues a 3 game winning streak for The Penetrators which now stands at 4 wins in a row.

The loss comes on the heels of a Punishers victory in their last game. .These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 8 times. The Penetrators currently owns a 5 game winning streak in this rivalry. Their previous contest occured in a IFFL - Reston/Fairfax Fall League "A" regular season game Nov 06 2011, 10:00, which The Penetrators won 14-3. Overall, The Penetrators is 5-3 against Punishers.

If any of the teams that played in the `B` playoffs expect to play in the state tournament then you have will play teams equal to or better than the two `A` Teams that dropped down.

Shay did say that he would be dropping the two bottom `A` teams to `B` come playoff time. Did you not expect him to do it? Or did you initially think you could have beat of one the two `A` teams that dropped down. Then when you didn`t beat them, you complained.

If you look at our track record, we beat Vegas Nights by a touchdown and it came down to the end on that game. We beat Chuck Norris by 13-9. Had we beat either of those teams by 2+ touch downs, I could understand your frustration but it really comes down to the rules of the league. Since you pay to play, you accepted those rules by signing up.

Pens won B moved up to A and took their lumps just like the Punishers. I think the idea is to get all teams in the appropriate division, so I don`t understand the complaining. Do all the B teams really think Pens and Punishers are that much better than them?

Well for 1) I think they proved they are better considering they went 2-0 vs. B teams and 2) if you play in A all season then drop to B, that`s an advantage in itself considering the difference in competition.

the only relative opinions that that matter are from the 4 B teams that the punishers and penetrators beat. i dont see any of them on here complaining, each of those 4 teams played the punishers and penetrators well, ....there was no "advantage" and if there was, then flip the script and thank the punishers and penetrators for making those 4 B teams better prepared for States....

Couldn`t agree more...It is not like both #1 teams from B were in the semifinals and got rocked by the two A teams.

WE lost that game! No wouldas, couldas or shoulda`s. We held them in check for the majority of the game and gave it away on the last drive. It`s not the way IFFL has it setup or the Pen`s being an A team that dropped to the B playoffs. The Pens kept fighting and closed out the game strong. We didn`t stop them…plain and simple.

NO excuses! Congrats to the Pens. We`ll be back next season.
