This is the fifth time The Truth shutout an opponent this season. The victory continues a 3 game winning streak for The Truth which now stands at 4 wins in a row.
The loss ended a 2 game winning streak for Outcast. This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Outcast, and the second time Outcast failed to score against an opponent this season.These teams are very familiar with one another, having now played 6 times. The Truth has now won the last two matchups. Their previous contest occured in a IFFL - Reston Spring League "Open" regular season game May 06 2012, 08:00, which The Truth won 7-0. Overall, The Truth is 5-1 against Outcast.

05/21/12 16:05 | The Qb was scrambling out and he planted to make a cut. The DL made an attempt to grab his flag and the QB`s body twisted and unfortunately , the foot didn`t give.OC was all but done after that.Losing any player of that caliber (especially a QB) will deflate any team. |

Indeed true. Once a team has some no-shows and they lose, it`s all because they had players missing and not the fact we played better than them. |
